The Bard

[SPOILER FREE] This movie is a worthy sequel to it's 1986 predecessor. At it's essence, it's a simple story about passionate professionals giving more than a damn to achieve excellence in their chosen craft. But, it is also about interpersonal relationships and the continous "dogfight" between an individual's competitive spirit and his/her duty to put the team before himself/herself. And, then there are those glorious flying machines and high on adrenaline aerial action. And I thank the Gods for the makers deciding to not go overboard with the VFX (looking at you, Marvel). Also, the complete lack of Wokery is definitely a welcome whiff of fresh air considering the over-enlightened times we find ourselves in. Go watch this movie with your friends and family. Kids are gonna love it!
