I'm a huge fan of the silent patient and eagerly awaited the release of the maidens. Whilst the book was gripping I feel a lot is missing or unclarified - the killer (voiceover by kobna Holdsworth-Smith) are we to believe this was Zoe? Or the creation of a new character in book 3? The tie into the original book was genius but the death of the students lacked true depth of how frenzied the real approach to find the killer would have been. Anyone else have similar views?
