I hope the dude that wrote all these books reads this. In order to be a good book you have to paint a picture. This you don’t do. A serial killer will talk in great detail about his art. You kinda glaze over it. Like we’re supposed to come up with our own story of what he cuts, where he cuts, why he cuts there and how long does this last. The intimate moments that he spends with his victims. Non of that is in any of these books. Also I’m not sure if you studied up on a character that is a psychopath, been taught by a seasoned police officer at a young age and is a forensic expert but all those things would make the character a very smart and clever man but you make him stupid, alien, and dimmer then a small child. All these obvious things fly over his head that I’m sure everybody sees coming a mile away and then are screaming at you because your character Dexter can’t seem to put together because what? He’s a psychopath so that make him stupid?????? Because a coo and a forensic expert would have put those blatant obvious clues together. You try to blame it on “because he’s not human”. Wrong. He doesn’t have emotions, empathy, or remorse. He’s sees logical because those emotions don’t blur it up. You just make him seem stupid. Lastly. Do your research. There is no safety on a Glock pistol. That enough told me that you didn’t really put effort into the research of these books.
