Adipurush is actually not as bad as many youtubers are saying. Honestly the opinions I see on social media about the film are exaggerated hate. I went with family and I actually liked the experience. Its a very fantasy novel type treatment of Ramayana and one befitting the modern day. Trust me guys all the uproar about how Ramanand Sagars Ramayana was the best one is not logical. With today's technology and vfx arsenal you cant get away with the vfx of Ramanand Sagars Ramayana. To give credit where its due , the vfx in Adipurush is actually quite good, especially the action sequences, starting from Jatayus attempt to save Sita Maa from Raavan to the final battle between Shri Ram and Raavan. And the music and BGM is good. The cast has also done good work for a vfx based movie, especially Saif Ali Khan and Kriti. Prabhas could have done better. The casual and street thug type dialogues given to Hanumaan ji and Indrajeet were outright disgusting. It made me feel like puking when I heard them on the big screen and the director, dialogue writer and even the lead actors should have seen to it that such dialogues didn't see the light of the day. The story is rushed and character development takes a backseat . Editing could have been slicker. Overall, Adipurush is a decent take on Ramayan, with a fantasy novelish feel , one that many people may like. Its really not as ridiculous as many youtubers and critic are making it out to be.

I dont know why certain people are downvoting this movie for lack of "science and logicality". Its a supernatural movie, did you expect it to go by science and logic in the first place ?? I mean, come on !! I dont like comparing movies with different story lines but if you insist on doing so, then its better than Stree and has a better storyline than Bhool Bhulaiya. Scriptwise, Bhool Bhulaiya outdoes Laxmii, but thats about it. To the movies credit, both Akshay Kumar and Sharad Kelkar have nailed the physical and emotional attributes of playing a transgender. You really connect to the pain of being a transgender in todays world and thats purely because of Sharad Kelkar's fantastic acting. Its a must watch as the pain of transgenders needs to reach the masala loving audiences. Its not too spooky and all but the screen keeps you hooked for the duration of the movie. Few scenes involving the over scared saas bahu screaming could have been edited better keeping in mind its not a south Indian audience you are catering to. But thats a minuscule part of the movie and certainly not worthy of the flak its getting. Music is not great apart from the Burjkhalifa video and the Bum Bhole kinnar dance, which I must say is one of Akshay's most powerful dance performances to date, keeping in mind the fact that all the dancers were in sarees. Movie critics these days seem to be compelled to write negative reviews about every other movie that releases and should not be taken seriously. Its a family entertainer and every member of the family is different Thankfully Laxmii caters to every possible type of audience you may find in a family. So ignore the critics, go ahead and watch this entertaining movie on a TV screen with your family with your popcorn. Happy Diwali ! Bum Bum Bhole
