Ferns a bit annoying at the start but after that the show is pretty much a 9.5-10 out of 10. Great show great characters. We got a better Stark that iron man and game of thrones so that's something.

Not spoiling just giving context and my opinion. Vinland saga is not like most anime that you see nowadays in that the story and characters are given depth that you would usually see in many non anime shows and such and is void of many anime tropes. It's definitely a anime however unlike the shows being shipped out on mass its almost a reflection of our own society being tossed in a viking world where war is depicted well and brutally. It is an exceptional series that dives deep into morals and character. However I highly recommend that anyone who watches anime for just the action and fighting should stray away from this show (or not because this show is quite literally for you) because the action is periodic and used to tell a deeper message and not to try and defeat the strongest enemy and such.
