I’ve always enjoyed The Witcher and Henry Cavill’s portrayal of Geralt of Rivia , he brought a distinct depth, intensity, and calm strength to the character that truly defined the series. With the new season and Liam Hemsworth stepping into the role, I appreciate the effort and direction he brought to it. I’m not offending or insulting Liam in any way, he did his part well and gave his own take on the character. However, the overall feel felt a bit different. Personally, I think an actor like Gabriel Basso might have been a closer match to Henry Cavill’s tone and presence. Henry’s performance carried that quiet power and world-weary charisma that made Geralt so compelling.
