I am looking for this book. Lady Bird wrote a letter to my mother in 1968, thanking her for her “words of confidence.” I am curious to see if she mentions my mother’s letter in her diary. I have the original letter that Lady Bird wrote to my mother and I have had it framed. It is very neatly typed and dates February 16, 1968. It’s clearly done on an old fashioned hand type writer. And I have assumed that Lady Bird dictated it to her secretary. But then, she may have typed it herself. I will be happy to give a review once I read her diary. I am sure that it will be interesting. She was quite a woman who accomplished so much and set so many good precedents and standards for future First Ladies
