Very funny. Marlon surprised everyone at the time with his comedic timing. David Niven's performance was perfect. Michel Caine's rendition works well in the remake. Steve Martin's remake didn't really equal Brando's. Brando made you believe the character was real. Martin relied on his normal slapstick idiot character to make it work; sadly, it didn't match Brando's work. The ending in the remake didn't make much sense, but was put in to appease the Feminists in the audience. It was a case of art being downgraded because of politics, but it was still watchable.
