I’ve already rewatched this and enjoyed it better the second time.
Plot wise, ithe first 3 episodes are who is Jane Doe and the last 3 is why she was killed/how she died. Parts may seem “predictable” but there was enough suspense to keep it satisfying. Not every series needs to have shocking moments after moment like say White Lotus or the Sixth Sense which almost seems the norm in this day and age.
To me, it’s completely about the characters and all have major tragic flaws which is part of the appeal. Think it’s one of Bana’s best performances and DeWitts. Hard to discuss why I enjoyed some of the characters without giving away spoilers.
Love the cinematography—-and I’m sure to some outdoors folk they may have issues but it’s not intended as a survival documentary.
Netflix has plenty of misses in their original content, but every now and then release a real “banger” like Untamed. I would love a sequel and think there’s room. Maybe Kyle returns to Colorado where he grew up…also would be fantastic scenery.
