IF, you judge this on the standard of The Witcher then, yes. You would be really disappointed. The CGI of the monsters is pretty bad like 1999 bad. The first episodes story was bad also. It jumps a lot without you getting to know the characters (not surprising as Netflix cut 2 episodes).
However if you look at it as a stand alone story. It DOES get better as the episodes go on. I got a little more invested in the story by episode 3. The action and battle scenes are amazing. And the acting IS good despite what other people are saying. Their isn't a character that isn't believable in their role, despite maybe the main girl at little moments.
As a stand alone fantasy story its a good watch.
