I walked out after 37 minutes. Movie felt disjointed. Before buying the tickets online, I read the movie’s synopsis and it gave me the impression that I’d be seeing Tom Hanks and Robin Wright in another winning film. A satisfying drama. Oh my goodness— bored out of my mind. Chalk it up as a big disappointment in my book. Other reviews said that “maybe not everyone will appreciate the cinematic…” blah, blah, blah. I guess that’s me. What a bummer. I’m off to see if it’s too late to buy tickets for another movie here at the theater tonight, so my Friday night’s not a complete bust.
