While I can’t help but agree with most of the points negative reviewers have made, I can divide the old and the new. I LOVE Yorkshire, was my second home with my Yorkshireman husband. I have the complete set of All Creatures Great and Small and cherish them. My biggest regret with this series is they did not include Yorkshire as the foundation of the series. Secondly the the quality of the Yorkshire people is not apparent. Now for the worst of the worst, The forgetting to let the animals play their part in each series is unforgivable as well. This version is well acted but it is only about the Vets and Mrs. Hall and Helen. The title has been lost, you would think the script writers would have remembered what they were hired to do. In a writing class they would have failed because you lost the central subject, All Creatures Great and Small.
