To all the "Christians" who think this book is unChristian and doesn't teach children anything...READ AGAIN. This book is the ultimate way to teach children about the fact that CHRIST took the punishment for their sins by sacrificing His life...the only perfect sacrifice that allows us to have a relationship with God!!! The difference is that Christ CHOSE to be our "whipping boy". While we still suffer consequences for our sin, acceptance of Christ's sacrifice erases the "punishment" of our sin...death and separation from God for eternity. This story should make children feel sorry for the one who is unfairly and unjustly treated. All of us are "Prince Brats"...Jesus is our Jemmy! This is also an incredible story of the forgiveness Christ offers...He will be the one Who saves us and returns us to our heavenly kingdom...where we will live as sons and daughters of God (princes and princesses of the King of Kings) forever!
