I really liked this movie a lot. I think everybody did a great job. My favorite though was Nick Nolte as the dad. Made me laugh and made me cry. The one person who was totally miscast and I literally laughed every time this person came on in the movie was Jada pinkett Smith and I'm glad to see that she didn't make it as a hero in this film. She was awful.

I don't know who these people are writing any four or five star reviews. the first third was interesting. then it got super cheesy and tacky poorly directed and just fell apart.

Hijack is the same kind of content Netflix is turning out of a furious rate. Idris Elba carries the film, but the writing and directing is laughable from the get-go. I guess for people who are not true cinema buffs, it qualifies as a good film, but I found it to be basic all the way through

One of the worst movies I have ever seen. The actors did a good job, but the film was very poorly executed by the director. I actually think I could have done a better job.

I was greatly looking forward to this mini-series series with Helen Mirren. As a fan of Russian history, and Catherine the Great, who I have been fascinated with my whole life, I had hoped to learn more then from the books I have read. But this is mundane. And I'm not even half an hour into episode 1, and I've lost interest, sorry to say. Being from HBO, I thought it would be fantastic, but it's quite disappointing.
