It's a fetch quest rpg. Minimal creature variety, relatively bland story line that could've been far more interesting, there's only a hand full of maps to traverse. It could've been a great game, but the storyline is outright unsatisfying with what I would say to be many oversights in its world building Followers should be able to self heal, , not the round about way of you have to deal through a certain perk or nonsense. And at hardest difficulty you essentially can't sleep until you complete that main quest line because you can only sleep in the ship but the door is locked and companions die permanently instead of a revive system which is more annoying than difficult, especially when you have a high medical tech skill. And the main character, your character, has no arc personality wise. No real backstory, and just make for such a missed opportunity. Like when sending the transmission down to Earth, should have the option for the character to try and contact their family if they weren't on the Hope. It just could've been a lot more than what it was.
