So this is the mature Mulan movie. Yes, no music or Mushu. But I actually found Shan-Yu scarier than what’s his name. Of course the villain isn’t memorable because no one is! Mulan was born Supergirl and the actress playing her only has one expression! And as for the supposed realism there is also a random witch who can turn into birds. My advice: don’t waste your time on this piece of trash. Mulan 1998 is superior in every way!

This series is much more like the manga than the 90s anime, in other words much better! The voice acting and animation are hugely improved. I can hardly wait for season two!
