The special effects are good, the homemade films are genuinely creepy. But I could not take this movie seriously. I found myself laughing at this film several times. The Bughuul scare jump scare made me laugh so hard it hurt. The dead children following the main character made me giggle. And the little boy screaming and having nightmares made me chuckle a little bit. This movie doesn't understand show don't tell when it comes to its jump scares and other stuff but the homemade snuff films were good and I always love James Ransone when he appears in a film. How can people find this film scary? its made me laugh more than anything. 3/5 and 5/10 would recommend to someone who is just starting off with horror.

I couldn't sit through the whole movie. The eyeball scene was good but the rest just dragged on. It's soo boring it's not a great horror movie not well written. Just so bad. The father and mother are generic the l9ve interest is generic the plot is 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.... The conversation feel so unnatural and forced. Do not waste your time on this movie it's just a skip. 1/2 out if ten.
