This plot could easily have been lifted from a generic CSI tv show. Star Wars has hit a new low. I wish I could go back in time and redeem the 42 minutes I waisted watching the first episode of this sophomoric slop.

This show has become a mess. A show that a couple of years ago was thoughtful and insightful has fallen to the most obvious of common denominators of it's rivals. Too much pedestrian commenting by the each host on every story. Story selection too often seems to have a Viacom connection. Anthony Mason gave the show some gravitas that a stretched Nate Burleson cannot replace. But this typical of CBS inability to produce consistent quality news shows.

It's hard for a comedy show to go 90 minutes without a laugh. But SNL 48-2 did it. Fire the writers.
