Very very disappointed. Waste of 2 and odd hours of my life. The movie leaves you with a bad tinge with its logic less and over dramatic routine ending. I am a huge fan of Nani. I even liked Majnu a lot when lot of my friends felt it was average. Nani s character is different in this and he does a great job as an actor inspite of very few dialogues for him. Nani s characterisation has depth to it. But the same can't be said about the story or other characters who seem to merely exist according to the film makers wish. Very superficial and filmy. Bits where Nani actually speaks are good. But they are the only good. And over-all the movie leaves you with a bad feeling. How can anyone say all is well bcoz Chandra is home? The movie is very very far from reality. It's like Cinderella s stepmom realising her mistakes and apologising to Cinderella for years of mistreatment overnight... And suddenly... Boom. 💥. All is well! Very dumb. The one star is for our Natural star.

People have rated it negative because it strongly advocates how we got freedom and who was not given the credit for it when it was due. While the logic of the finer things in the movie could have been better... The story music and acting. The entire movie is worth watching for the bit where Rana comes in and explains the truth. Such a profound moment. Even otherwise the movie is definitely worth the watch. Every Indian deserves to know the truth hidden by the History books we read.
