It’s a technical brilliant entertainer movie for Kamal Hassan & Shankar fans. In the first half we await the coming of Senapathy (Kamal Hassan) with the Barking dogs starting the #CombackIndian on the social media due to the misuse of justice created by corrupt government officials on the common people of TN. Each killing of corrup businessmen by Senapathy is like a set piece which make the typical audience gape in awe for its uniqueness. There are new Varma Kriyas applied this time around and we also get an explanation of it. Also the working of CGI and motion capture to bring the dead Artists like Nedumudi Venu, Vivek and others is commendable and appreciated by movie goers for the nostalgia it gives us. The second half is most a cat and mouse chase between Senapathy and the police and ends with Senapathy getting the upper hand and final escapes from clutches of the authorities and his promise that “I’ll be Back” like Arnold did in Terminator movies. We get the trailer of Indian 3 as a mid end credit scene so that the audience is relieved that we can expect more bang & thrills from Senapathy and Shankar in the final instalment of this movie franchise in January 2025.
