Those watching this without seeing part 1 can enjoy its comedy and great actors but for those of us who grew up watching part 1 will love the nostalgia and awesome throwbacks. Using the characters and actors from the original was genius. We loved it and our 18 yr old did as well. We watched part 1 after to show her why the throwbacks were funny. She loved both!
