The movie is good for what it is. It's not going to win any awards, but it's a solid cops vs robbers movie. The twist is the robbers are likable and the cops are the bad guys. You go back and forth between wanting to like Gerard Butler and hoping he gets shot in his knee caps. I enjoyed the movie, the ending was solid. Probably deserves a rewatch at some point.

This movie is a lot of different things at once, which is what makes it interesting to watch. Not only interesting, but for young adults, potentially educational. The main protagonist is caught up in being a class clown/fun person to party with. Of course he is absolutely wrestling with his inner demons which he is completely ill-equipped to deal with.... and he falls for this absolutely wonderful person that just adores him because, why else, it's first love. Something we can all remember feeling... of course this is a well written independent film which means... Were going to see Miles Teller blow things up like we all have done once or twice... There are people who will watch this movie and see it as a real portrayal of something that could have happened... and there are people who will think it's ridiculous... because you've never wondered if anyone actually loved you...
