Ron Allen

This movie has some great dramatic moments. The Mom was a very unusual character such as I’ve never seen in a movie and done so well. The son is is going through turbulent adolescence and this young actor is magnificent portraying all the emotions. I found many of the vintage mid century visual elements, especially the never ending 8mm movie clips, un original, off the shelf, and eventually annoying. It was a bit too long. I think this movie is unique and admirable and shows a true story of how a youngster from a challenging family background courageously moves forward with a Dream!
