This film was so confusing and I left the movie saying, wtf?! You see Cillian Murphy living in small town Ireland where he discovers a young girl who has escaped the local convent. Throughout the movie you get flashbacks of Cillian as a young boy and his mother passing away but you never learn about what happened, why he was left at that house or who the hell the young suitor was. When you return to present day, you have to assume what is going on at this convent. It doesn’t show anything from inside the convent other than the girl being returned and Cillian being paid off!! This movie could have been so good, but was awful and I want my time + money back.

This was hands down one of the worst movies I’ve ever watched..almost as bad as Cats, the movie. The story line glorifies cheating, is predictable to a T and not realistic whatsoever. If I could give this a negative rating I would. How have none of these people aged since the beginning of the story? How was the main actress able to resume her normal life immediately after waking from a 3+ month coma??? Why was there no commentary after the main actress ran away at dinner in front of her boyfriend’s family?!? Do better! 🙄
