2016 gave us a lot of great FPS titles, Overwatch is an unexpected new IP from Blizzard. The game is super addictive in terms of its replayability, wide amount of heroes/characters to play as, very simplified RPG controls, playstyles developed by players and narrative from each heroes. I got this game in PS4, great multiplayer game for consoles too The game created a very interesting sci-fi world which humans and omnics (robots) live together in peace, but the omnics that are evil wants to exterminate every human being and good omnics. Overwatch came out and save the world, creating the golden age of heroes plus resulting new threats to emerge like Talon. I do love the stories of Overwatch from the past to the present, a multiplayer game that has a potential for story driven narrative. In terms of content, Overwatch is worth to buy with lots of heroes, multiplayer modes and cosmetics. The competitive mode is what it feels serious as I had to work together with other teammates, ranking as high as possible and use the currency from the reward given to buy that sweet, sweet gold weapon skin The game does have a story driven PvE gamemodes, but it's a limited time event and also challenging if playing on harder difficulty. Developers were hoping that the game gets more spinoffs and future titles to expand its story and future plotlines like League of Legends, Blizzard also created a lot of CGI animated short which revolves around the story of one character and it felt like watching a movie because of the quality Overall, Overwatch is must buy for everyone to be the multiplayer game that everyone will have fun with. Eventhough, the sequel, OW2 has the same gameplay loop from its multiplayer and the only thing new is a expansion PvE content, new looks for the heroes as a new default look, new PvP mode and new maps, I still recommend to play this game and it's very enjoyable experience. Plus, IGN's updated review of Overwatch in 2020 was extremely despised for getting the perfect score (10) viewers mostly referring the obvious "the game is great but not perfect", people who ruined the matches (Cheaters, griefers, hackers, exploiters, etc) and the competitiveness of the game. But what people forgot at one point is that the game is all about fun, of course the game doesn't deserve that kind of score but the point implies to its fun factor. Like Team Fortress 2 (the game that inspires Overwatch), the game was meant to have fun memories in your gaming experience and along with your friends/family and wasn't 100% meant to overly serious or for its competitive. The base multiplayer and the workshop (custom gamemode) is all you need to enjoy, the e-sports itself doesn't like it is a good spot, probably getting worse but competitive OW isn't really the part that needs to fix the game. Overwatch itself is the definition of billions of replayable fun which makes this Team Fortress 2-inspired game nailed its own version, things might not be the same back then but I hope for future players and casuals, we just want enjoy a great game to satisfy our boredom. 9.2/10

As much as everyone hates the game, it's really painful to say that i actually like Youngblood. The game is a complete mockery of the Wolfenstein i know and it's a coincidence that the game's transition is similar of that of Far Cry New Dawn, both games were FPS and the latest installment has basic RPG mechanics and a short game. But i think New Dawn's RPG mechanics were implemented way better as it doesn't ruined the entire experience and better co-op. Youngblood follows up after The New Colossus (BJ succeeded in liberating America), it begins with BJ's twin daughters and Grace's daughter on a adventure to find BJ. The story isn't really good and also cringy if you know what i mean. For the game, you can play as one BJ's twin daughters, Sophia and Jess. For the gameplay, doesn't feel like a Wolfenstein game shooting enemies with bullets isn't satisfying , ruining the enjoyment of killing as all these enemies were bullet sponges. Putting RPG in this game ruins the entire pace and completely changes the core game which makes the experience more tedious for example in the New Colossus you can kill several enemies with just one clip, but in here you need 3 or more clips to kill a single Nazi enemy cause RPG, that's just boring and not Wolfenstein. The exploration of Paris is open ended at least it's not linear, you can collect collectibles as part of the world building and currencies for the basic RPG upgrades. The progression system is very grindy as you mostly need to get tonnes of currencies to buy a lot of upgrades for your guns for different playstyles. The literal worst part of the game is microtransaction as the currency can be used to buy the upgrades plus cosmetic melee weapons and skins, why? Don't play this game as i warned you, if you are new to Machine Games' Wolfenstein reboot franchise i recommend playing The New Order and The Old Blood plus New Colossus for last, cause that's what you call a Wolfenstein experience. 5.3/10

This is considered to be the best FPS of 2016, the sequel to Titanfall is worth your time for a great sci-fi shooter. It may not be the greatest FPS, but it is one of the best FPS games ever made. It was disappointing that the game sold fewer copies than its predecessor, released one week after Battlefield 1 and a competitor to Activision's COD: Infinite Warfare all because of EA. In recent years, the game was able to get popularity thanks to Respawn's Titanfall F2P spinoff, Apex Legends. The campaign is just great, the events you are in is immersive and lets you take control the full sandbox which is also in the multiplayer unlike most modern shooters. Eventhought the story is generic and the length of the campaign is short, the gameplay shines its identity. Just like COD, it's about the multiplayer. The game had more improvements from its predecessor, more titans, more weapons, more skills and it's very awesome. The formula was involved to something that most modern gamers had never experienced in their entire gaming history which explains the low credibility of Respawn's franchise because they are new and not well-known. I really hope for the third game, the wait will be depressing but when it is there, we can't wait for a new Titanfall experience 9.5/10

It's a shame the game got cancelled after Hideo Kojima got fired, I wanted to enter how terrifying the Silent Hill franchise, but I won't get that experience. I hope the game gets the reboot it deserves if Konami really is developing it secretly or a spiritual successor to honor its legacy. I don't get to play it but if i was there earlier, I would be there to know it

The presentation of this title had a lot of promises, back when it was announced. The Order: 1886 is considered to be one of the best visually impressive titles of the 8th generation, away ahead of its time in terms of details and visual textures. Sadly, the game sacrifice its gameplay for the graphics, because the length of the campaign is just 6 hours including the cutscenes and most of the time you need to put your controller down and watch it. The gameplay isn't really that impressive, there is at least some good gameplay with its inventive and creative weaponry and consumables, but there's just too many interactions with objects, so not a lot of combat coming right to your controller. The boss fights in the game were just QTEs which is just a horrible thing in gaming nowadays, fighting the boss by just pressing a button. The story is decent at least from what I experienced and the ending isn't that satisfying and ended in a cliffhanger. The experience so far was just disappointing, but i don't considered this a bad game. I do recommend it if you buy it a half its price or lower, it's a gem which does showcases the capabilities of the PS4 powering a beautiful game with its engine and is, I hope the game gets an actual sequel with longer length, more gameplay and a great story to please fans. 7/10

Fallout 76, the game that tarnished Bethesda's reputation into dust among the fans of Fallout. It didn't age well in terms of visual, performance, etc. The game is Fallout 4, but Multiplayer and buggier, although the game actually made better improvements than vanilla F4. At first, the premise is interesting, the first Fallout game to have no NPCs which you interact with others aka real players and thrive from the underground to create a fun experience, but no, it was executed poorly making the game feel lifeless or soulless. The story is so non-existent, the way it was told is like doing a common chore or small side quest, it gets old and boring very quickly. The backstory also doesn't matter if the narrative is unemotionally enough cause there is only robots as your "NPCs". The game is horrendous in performance even if you have a high-end PC, at Day 1 and B.E.T.A it is so broken and nearly unplayable. Mostly the frame rate, loading textures and environments, character animation, etc is very slow to activate, the main factor of all of this is the game engine (Bethesda's one and only game engine they own since the 1990s), it is actually unacceptable use this outdated, battered game engine in modern industry. The gameplay itself is a mindless grind, mostly getting better gear, better looks, better experience, the new content did entice the players to keep playing. Personally, I like Fallout 76 as much as F4, the part i like is grinding gear, consumables and materials including killing enemies. The game actually had more variety and factions of enemies (non-human) and they all look visually terrifying. New enemies like the Scorchbeast (Dragon) reminds me of ES: Skyrim, but in Fallout using guns. I forgot that the games take places in West Virginia, it explains why the creatures/monsters in-game were based on real myths, urban legends of West Virginia and the major locations based on their real-life counterparts. At the end, the game is of course not for gamers with high expectations but I think it is for Fallout fans. Bethesda should really learn from their mistake and be better in the future and stop redoing the same action they did. 6/10

This was the first game i played in the ps4 which was already included in the bundle, the game became my personal favourite ps4 title by far my number 1st favourite. Guerrilla Games' new IP is astonishing, even though there were the creators of Killzone which is a pretty good fps franchise, it's a good decision to move on. Other than that, the game is one beautiful sandbox which a wasteland of technologies, the world is dominated by animal and dinosaur-like-robots that takes places in the future of the 31st Century, surviving humans live in tribes that resembles life in the rock age of humanity and secrets left by an unknown living being/machines. Aloy is a relatively strong female character, the characters that hunts the wild (If you even call the wild) using her trusty bow, spear and traps, explore the world decimated and dominated by machines, The game does have a good story and narrative, has a typical rpg mechanics, the graphics looks beautiful thanks to the Decima engine (also used by Hideo Kojima for Death Stranding). Horizon Zero Dawn is an example of what a AAA game should be since other AAA games industries gave up pretty much on single player games because it doesn't make a lot of money , these are the type of games prove that single player games are still alive and narrative-driven stories is what made gamers be interested with, feel emotional with the story and embrace an exciting adventure lies upon you. I guarantee you that it's a blast and a classic for the PS4. 9.8/10

This is a very good bundle for buying 2 Borderlands games at once. All the DLCs in the game is just awesome and pure mayhem, buying it at a cheaper price will be an extraordinary thing you have ever done in video games. 9/10

This remake is what keeps me intrigued of the Mafia series at first. The game succeeded in being a very modern experience, vastly better technology to showcase and keeping up the spirit of the og game mainly the atmosphere and story along with a great soundtrack to support that feeling It's actually incredible that the developers were able to make a stable and clean performance when previously Mafia 3 was really buggy at the start and the disappointing performance of Mafia 2 Definitive Edition. The new replaced cutscenes were well-put and believable thanks to motion capture, making it more immersive and very cinematic. The characters models are of course different in terms of new voice actors and their looks, both are used to make that said character match their voice tone and I actually do like the new faces of the characters plus their voice acting despite not having the og actors recasting their characters In terms of gameplay loop in the campaign, good thing it's still the same as the original, very linear. Despite being an open world, the story plays each chapter in specific locations at certain time and doesn't let you do open world related-activities much which is the good way to keep continuing the story without these distractions. The only new additions to the city of Lost Haven is the addition of details and collectibles to find including secrets. Unfortunately, there are some things Hanger 13 left it wrong like the weapon animation is literally directly from Mafia 3; Tommy Angelo is not some soldier from the army like Lincoln Clay, he is just a cab driver then turned to a full pledge mafia member yet he was able to use these weapons like a pro. The driving is different than a lot of open world since the game take places in the 1930s, cars at that era were not that great in terms of control and acceleration, if you choose the classic mode as the difficulty it makes the driving very realistic yet terrible just to remind players what kind of cars they are back then, makes it feel like it. Speaking of driving, if you play that racing mission in classic difficulty you know how veterans tried so hard to beat and you get to experience it too and the rest of the game Despite being made into more to modern casual players, it is still a solid remake to know a game they never played and several options to pick on how you want to play, eventhought I've never played the original Mafia I do think some aspects from the original should have been carried over to the remake 8.5/10
