Oh dear! Aftertaste = No Taste. Apart from a whole cast of unlikeable, nasty characters who do nasty, unlikeable things to each other (not to mention the sensibilities of any viewers who are foolish enough to keep watching, no doubt awaiting a moment of redemption somewhere in the script or the plot), the script is puerile. and the acting unconvincing. A perfect example of the old scriptwriter's ploy for when they run out of ideas: Just chuck in some bad language and a bit of gratuitous sex. I really wanted to like this show. I used to live in the Adelaide hills, so love the scenery. But I cannot find it in myself to even tolerate it. It defies reason as to why the ABC re-commissioned this pap. Especially as they are continually moaning about lack of funding. Very poorly spent Australian taxpayer dollars. And what a waste of a potentially good cast, too!
