It was a cute family movie. It’s predictable but it has a sweet storyline. I loved that they included sign language as it’s something that’s underrepresented. It goes on to show you that something you think you want so badly you’ll do anything for isn’t always what you really want if it means hurting relationships but you can find a balance between the two. Yes I know run on sentence but oh well. I’d gladly watch it again.

There is almost nothing comparable to the cartoon. Everything that was good was removed from the movie from music to comedic characters. They added unnecessary characters like the Phoenix and witch. It was honestly a waste of time and probably one of the worst Disney movies I’ve seen. Absolutely glad I didn’t waste $30 when it originally came out. I just finished watching it and couldn’t tell you anything about it as it was that forgettable. I’m really not sure what version some of these other reviewers watched but... really don’t have any high hopes. Shame they wasted 200 million dollars on this.
