Heartfelt. Not something one would enjoy watching, however, watched it twice!
I salute Celine for her courage and bravery in sharing and highlighting what she is going through, in this documentary.
My heart goes out to her.
And reading some other comments, I cannot believe the judgement and destructive criticism of some.
Trolls and Keyboard warriors without an inch of compassion? And critical people who maybe don't care a damn about their hurtful comments. But that's life. I guess one must expect so much negativity.
The doc was real, raw and heartwrenching.
Her children are her world.
She highlighted her passion about music because this doc is about her as an artist and as a human soul. It's about a musical icon. Not about her children.
If she "lied" about her condition, is it because maybe she didn't want to disappoint her fans, maybe she was in denial. Quite normal to feel that way.
But this doc is an honest account of her life and of course highlights her illness. Reaching out to the world, her fans and everyone else, not for sympathy but to be upfront and honest. And finally put to bed any speculation.
Lying about her seizures?
My goodness, that's very judgemental and cruel of some people. She has more integrity than to lie. Then would the doctors and other medical personnel attending to her, lie too? That would be unethical.
In conclusion, judgement on her dog too. A labrador who she clearly adored too as she does with her other pets featured in the doc.
Did anyone notice the RIP to her doggie at the end of the credits?
Celine Dion is one of my all time favourite female artists. She is gifted, talented, real, passionate and a beautiful person.
