it wasn't only a good book. it made me cry! it was realistic, their meaning of the revolution, the slow one was totally amazing. I acknowledge, I read it three or four months ago, I don't remember abt all the names, or concepts, but to make it short, let's say, it follows the grace year of 16 years old girl. the thing is that, in their village, or city or Idk, there is this concept, witch stands on the 16 years old girls, only, going on a journey, to spend a year in closed forest, t avoid to all the men to be the victims of their powerful et chaotic strenght. all that to:
SPOILER!!!!!!!
At the end, show us, they were doing this in perpose to kill the poor girls for a reason, and shut their fucking mouths for ever. they use theirs organs, sell them, and a whole trafic. it is outrageous. then there is the heartbreaking story, it didn't only killed me, the end, how she lost him, and how she was pregnant made me cry put all my tears on the last pages. every single time I see some patriarcal action, or point of view, I remember how this book ended. and how the revolution is always here, how it is right in front of us, how we always must be aware, and have hope. yeah, hope, it was what impressed me the most, 'cause even in the middle, of her struggle, and her pain, of the prejudice, and the betrayals, she did her best. Kim Ligget, I'm a big fan, especially, and more, when I read your note, and how, for the love of God, you had this idea. it's so real, it's so exhausting. but we leaved them make us live that hell, and we will get rid of it!
