Certainly one for the fans of this genre. I didn't think I was, but evidently I am. The acting is good, a little rushed at times. The Merrick character was a caricature, but fitting for his role as the evil tech magnate with a private army. The action scenes are great, good to see some graphic scenes. The film is careful not to tread on any current inclusivity traps and almost every gender, life choice and race is represented. This film is worthy of a sequel and an ongoing series, I am seriously involved with all the characters and look forward to the others introduced at the end.
One question though; if they dream of each other when separated, why doesn't it happen ALL the time? Looks a bit like plot convenience.
Very enjoyable.
