I absolutely fell in love with this drama! It's exciting, captivating, and truly an excellent adaptation of the original novel. This will be my comfort drama~ With just 12 episodes, it delivers the perfect balance of romance and thrilling moments. Honestly, I didn’t want it to end! Every episode was so gripping that I found myself eagerly pressing the 'next' button without hesitation. Unlike many K-dramas with 16 episodes that can drag and lose momentum before the finale, this one kept me anxiously awaiting each new episode. The storyline feels like it leaped straight out of Wattpad! Sure, it can get a bit unrealistic at times, but hey, it’s based on a light novel! The adaptation team did a fantastic job, sprinkling in a few heart-throbbing scenes and introducing new characters that fit seamlessly into the narrative. If you're in the mood for a Wattpad-coded story with top-tier acting, this drama is a must-watch! The performances were phenomenal. Yoo Yeon Seok as Baek Saeon was absolutely mesmerizing! He’s always been a talented actor, but here, he outdid himself. I could feel every single emotion through the screen. Fun fact: he even sang the final OST, which was just the cherry on top! While the Baek Saeon in the novel felt a bit distant, Yoo Yeon Seok brought a warmth to the character that made every scene feel deeply moving. Chae Soobin was equally amazing! Her portrayal of Hong Heeju was both fierce and endearing. I was so impressed by her use of sign language—it added such depth to her character and showed her dedication to the role. Her Hong Heeju is the epitome of "don’t judge a book by its cover." Cute and innocent on the surface, but strong, determined, and full of surprises. The chemistry between Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soobin was simply magical! I truly hope they reunite for another project in the future because their on-screen connection was perfection. While the ending of the novel felt a bit rushed to me (the side stories was great tho), the drama more than made up for it. The finale was sweet and heartwarming, wrapping up beautifully by revisiting each character’s journey. Unfortunately, a provocative scene in the final episode has sparked backlash, with both the drama and its cast facing criticism. It’s disheartening to see netizens harassing the actors, who were simply delivering outstanding performances. While it may have been a misstep on the production team’s part, the cruelty of online comments is uncalled for. I hope the cast remains undeterred and continues to thrive in their careers—they truly gave their all in this drama. In short, this drama is a gem! It’s engaging, emotional, and filled with unforgettable performances. Definitely worth watching!"
