Anyone who loves, respects, admires or is just inquisitive about Robbie Williams will enjoy this clever take on the early part of his journey to fame and ultimate self destruction!! There’s a suggestion about the triggers of his insecurities and what fed his doubts and anxiety… and a glimmer of the hope he realises when at his lowest ever period. It’s a great film, the metaphor of Robbie’s character as a chimp and some ingenious CGI lead to an understanding and appreciation of the character behind the star. I definitely recommend the film!!
