Thank you for writing this. I can’t remember what company my dad was in. But he was in the company that had did the toilet paper thing. And the one the tiger stalked for three days until the event happened.
It gave me chills hearing your version of events. I remembered hearing some of those stories from my dad.
I want to tell you thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you for keeping my dad safe when they called him into the field yelling, medic. Because of you. He’s alive and I’m here today because of it.
Thank you for everything at the reunion. Thank you for giving me a copy of the book. I wish I could meet you and hug you.
My dad, Doc Black, has always been a hero in my eyes. He just tells me, I just did my job.
I think after the reunion. He has more pride in what he did than before. Thank you for that too.
It’s amazing how you were both in different companies but your life stories are so similar. From before, during, and after. You’re lives are a lot a like.
Thank you for this book. My dads name isn’t mentioned because he was in a different company. But he already told me some of the stories that are in your book. And because of you, I now have those stories on paper. Thank you.
I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done and are still doing. You’re amazing and you’re my hero as well.
