A.M. Rodriguez

I never rate movies on here but this thing got savaged. I think it will be a victim of its filmmaker’s ambition. Too esoteric for football fans, too football for horror nerds (where I lump myself), and not worried about explaining every action it takes (I found character actions essentially justified on-screen based on minimal knowledge of football culture but critics disagree, I suppose). Stylish and assuredly directed, but lags a bit in the later half of the second act. I will follow the director after this one.
