It was a brilliantly told tale: vivid, enthralling, and euphonious. This movie came at a time when I was getting bored with movies, with their forced comedy, hackneyed action scenes, and lackluster storytelling. Dune broke that mold. It doesn't have comedy but the story is told brilliantly and with amazing acting. It was a little different from the book, but if you simply watch it as a movie, it's the best movie in the recent past. I haven't enjoyed a movie this much since Interstellar.

Best growing up movie in a long time. I don't know why I haven't seen this for so long. This movie needs more recognition.
