A compelling picture of moral dilemma and the struggle of Oppenheimer and his team's devastating creation. People who went to see a typical Hollywood dramatisation narrative, with lots of action, calling the film "boring" need to reconsider - this film is a brilliantly crafted depiction of the mind that is Robert Oppenheimer.
Nolan has used the title man's character as the centrepiece for a dilemma that makes the viewer constantly question the morality of the atomic bomb, with Oppenheimer's disturbing visions doing the talking. Again, those who wanted to see lots of the overdone "boom boom action" type of Hollywood need to take a step back and read the title of the film - the movie is about the man himself, his journey and the consequences of the bomb.
Finally, despite knowing the outcome due to history, Nolan still provides scintillating tension and a stunning blend of visuals and sound. The film may seem like a slow burn at first, but with dedicated viewing, you are drawn into the storm of events that Oppenheimer went through.
