The Dark Knight

Really enjoying the game and the journey into the unknown, a real free roam game with atmosphere. Have experienced a couple of issues but overall runs fine. I haven't even got out of the first zone yet and I'm praying there will be a DLC map(s). Love this game!!!!

A fun packed, adrenaline pumped, petrol injected triumph! Chris and Anya are exceptional and well suited to their roles, they are supported by other fantastic performances, especially Tom Burke who plays a mysterious Praetorian Jack. The film beautifully takes you back to Fury road and whilst the on road linear battles are familiar, new ideas have been thrown into the pot. Loved this movie, I hope there are more to come.

I didn't like it, it was a bit mediocre if I am honest.

Having just watched Napoleon, I can't help feel underwhelmed. The film doesn't represent the vast quantity of conquests, victories and losses of Napoleon's rule. The subject matter requires more time and development to investigate more of the complexity of Napoleon's nature and his powerful yet fragile leadership. Joaquin Phoenix's performance in gladiator is wonderful (and I expect it is partly why he was cast for this film) yet any similar performance is disappointingly vacant yet his American accent is awkwardly noticeable. I couldn't connect to Napoleon's character because there is little emotion shown by Joaquin. The final battle maybe correct in terms of numbers and scale but you feel that the spectacle is not to a blockbuster's standard and lacks emotion and drama. Rupert Everett's performance is equally substandard and he too struggle's with the bland dialogue. Napoleon's flat and almost laughable death summarise's the film's failure to connect with the audience. I'm a huge Ridley Scott fan but this film is not his best sadly.

It was ok, well made but overly religious at the end.

I would have given this film 4.5 stars but I will give it five rather than four, simply because it was a spectacular movie. Sure, its not perfect, there are a couple of plot holes and the film could have been slower in places. There are a few cliches and some of the acting could have been better. That said, I really enjoyed this movie. The scenery and cinematography is breath taking, I loved the props, costumes, visual effects and the subject matter. If you are a sci fi fan and/or a model/prop maker then I'm sure you will really enjoy the film. It may also be one of the films that is better the second time around, I hope to see it again.

Felt like a B movie to me. Not great to be honest, very wooden dialogue and acting.

Contains spoilers. A film which explores apocalypse, moral dilemmas and sacrifice. Whilst the movie is fairly well made and moves along nicely, the notion that somebody has to take the blame for the actions of others didn't sit well with me. Especially when the victims were an unsuspecting same sex couple with a child, this obviously had a religious undertone. Besides that, I was expecting a huge twist which sadly didn't happen. Unfortunately, this just felt like a Christian film franchise and although I'm not anti Christian, its just not for me and I was expecting something better.

The Series is excellent, is it better than the Mandalorian? I'm not sure...It gets a little messy through the middle but there are some interesting characters brought into the episodes and there are some wonderful nods to the past. The series is coming to a close and I really enjoyed it, lets hope the last episode send it off with a real bang!
