Dear School of Chocolate Team,
I just wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your show and the joy it brought to my family. I recently lost my father, and during his toughest days, School of Chocolate became a source of comfort and escape for him.
Whenever the pain became overwhelming, he would turn to me and say, “Ysallia, please put that show on—I need to see something sweet in my life to mask the bitter pain I am feeling inside.” And so we did. We watched together, and for those moments, his smiles replaced his suffering. Even just a few days before he passed, we shared one last episode, and for that, I am forever grateful.
The funny thing is—my dad didn’t even like chocolate! But he would always say, “This is the only chocolate I like.” That was his way of letting us know how much he truly enjoyed the show.
Your show may seem like just entertainment to some, but for us, it was a gift—one that brought light into our darkest days. Thank you for the artistry, the wonder, and the sweetness you shared with him and with us. You made a difference in ways you may not have realized, and I just wanted you to know how much it meant.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!
