If you liked the books, don't waste your time on the movie. It was overly preachy and bogged down by minimal character and plot development. If I hadn't read and liked the series, I still would've been disappointed by the palid characters and rushed, incomplete plot, but the fact that the movie has been heralded as a cinematic salute to Black Autumn, but in fact has almost NOTHING to do with the books other than some shared names, really turned me off of this movie. Please don't judge the books by this evangelical mess. It does not do the books justice.
