I did not go into this movie with a lot of expectations given how recent Pakistani cinema has been.. However can I just say I was blown away!!!! The cinema was jam packed with people, the excitement was palpable, we laughed, we cried, we were stunned into silence by some of the scenes and it was just so beautiful. The way the scenes were shot, the looks, the acting, the dialogues, everything was so all encompassing. What I really really loved about the movie was how it was such a beautiful tribute to our olden day Punjabi cinema while making itself relevant to the audiences of of today. You can tell that this was a labor of love just by the amount of thought that has gone into every scene, each character was built up perfectly you could relate even to the most horrible evil character into the movie and that's when you know that it's gonna be a good film to watch. I would highly recommend you go see this movie you are not gonna be disappointed!
