Utterly dire. As so many have said, just one cliche piled upon another. Good cast who looked as desperate for it to end as I was. Language was purely gratuitous and not used for comic effect; then again, nothing else was used for comic effect either. I don't think I got as far as a smile, let alone a laugh. What passed for a plot was completely predictable and threadbare. One really wonders why Merchant got involved with this - surely he can't have been that skint? A complete waste of electricity and 90 minutes of my life.
