This is not a movie for everyone. I would state this is for the lovers of moral dilemmas and ethical questions. It makes you think about what is wrong or right and I think the way it ends is one of the best parts about it, sans the last few final moments when the winner steps out. Every thing else is top notch writing.
It all takes place in one single room. The dialogue makes the whole film. If you can appreciate good dialogue, and stories that make you think, you will enjoy this.
I saw it randomly on Netflix years ago and to this day, my daughter and I often bring it up and talk about the issues posed and who should have won etc. It is definitely a movie that will spark debate long after the film is done. It's a must watch.
Similar movies include:
The Belko Experiment
The Cube (First film only)
Triangle (the one made in 2009...not exactly the same but similar in debating after on theories)
Escape Room 1&2 (fun watch, because the sets and puzzles were so cool)
Battle Royale (also on the same line but more popular)
Side note:
There are people who may not understand the complex ideals and moral questions posed and miss the point entirely as evidenced by their interpretations of this film. That is fine, but I would question their knowledge of writing. I really dislike the "armchair peanut gallery" when they themselves could never have written something this unique and brilliant. They should dedicate that energy to making something better if they hate it so much.
