Book turned into Hollywood movie cliche thriller, Sydney Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried, both good, but not whom I pictured their characters when reading book. Should have ended movie sooner when it became obvious ending. Recommend book, more subtle, yet still gripping.

Most overrated movie I've seen this year! Most of film is just people yelling and cussing at each other. I get it was supposed to be farce-but it was just tiresome. Critics fell for this pseudo-feminist/sex worker "statement";acting over the top.The cliched 'touching' last scene i saw coming miles ahead.If there's nothing really there- critics call it profound.

These characters are so negative, they are ironically- hilarious. The dialogue is fantastic and never lets up. Reminded me of a good W. Allen film, or even those classic Cary Grant movies where two unlikely opposites meet (and of course fall in love). But its their getting there that is so fun. I had to watch it again just to get all the lines.
