Best new movie I've seen in YEARS. The film industry is going to shit, but Robert Eggers actually seems to know what he's doing. If you are complaining about the movie's pace, please don't bother tarnishing this movie's reviews, it's just not for you and that's ok. I have a short attention span due to my ADHD, but the movie kept me engaged the entire time. In terms of proper cinematic media, this is a gem, especially in today's age. Mr Eggers and the cast did an excellent job together and I would love to see more works like this one. Also I absolutely love gothic Victorian era horror, and this movie does the genre absolutely perfectly.
