Thought the film was very average, barely. Huge chunks of history left out, several scenes had the hollywood artistic license in top gear. Dont ever recall Darnley being mention as a homosexual, maybe he was, but i don't recall ever hearing or reading that? Also, the casting of hispanic, Asian and black actor/actresses I thought was odd. For example, the queens personal handmaiden would not have been a lady of asian descent. When to see the film with the premise that this was an historical accuarte film, not so, or close to it. Wish I had waited till it was released to TV, oh well...
