Danno Mano

I was truly surprised to see so many 5 star ratings for this album. I have always been a fan of PJ, particularly their earlier work, and was excited with their return to form with the 2009 album Backspacer. Having heard the title track to this new album (which is great), I really wanted to believe the hype that this record is up there with their best work, but IMO it isn't. There are some quality noteworthy tracks here but they are equally matched with tracks best described as fillers. If you're looking for a record full of bangers, this one isn't for you!
