It’s hard to believe this movie received so many awards. The plot is basic and the production lacks genius or originality. Bring in a bit of Tarantino or Guy Ritchie touch and you could make it a stand out but as it is it feels more like an average modern take on a boring Cinderella story than a brilliant original film…
