Just saw the Barbie movie. I was really wanting it to be good. It was so not good! There was maybe a handful of times that I laughed. It was so anti men. When Barbie comes into the real world, it felt like it was a flashback to the 1950s. I don't know what world the woman that co-wrote this is living in, but it's not the same one that I am. The main message to me in this movie was that men and women cannot be equals. In order for one to be successful they have to dominate the other. They cannot coexist. They tried to make this seem like such a female empowerment movie, but it fell flat. Women do not need to demasculize men and belittle them in order to feel powerful.
