Two dudes met. They fell in love. They lived. That’s their story. Despite all the heartbreak and evil intentions Adam Silvera had to break our poor hearts, this book was beautifully written. I feel like it’s by far, one of the best books I’ve ever read and takes #1 on my list. Mateo and Rufus literally own my heart. The way they loved and cared so deeply for each other, the way they found a reason to smile and live on the day they die hurts so much knowing they didn’t end up together in the end. I really hope they’re in their ideal afterlife, getting matching tattoos, riding Rufus’s bike everywhere, traveling the world, living the life they couldn’t have here on earth. I really hope they find each other over there, wherever they might be. I’ll have to thank you, Mr. Silvera, for introducing me to such wonderful characters. I’m really glad I got to read and be a part of their lives.
