The first movie is definitely better. This sequel was lacking in areas surrounding character development, although it did portray the characters somewhat differently in that you got to know different aspects of their traits which was good , but lacked depth in other areas and at least one specific element didn’t didn’t make sense - whether it is explained better in a 3rd instalment remains to be seen. The premise of the story was okay, but some of the particulars definitely could have been handled better. I hope they redeem things in a future instalment
